The last match of the season was
the cup final against Moneyslane and it didnt go to plan with
the enemy beating us 3v0. There was a lot of missed chance in
the first half by both clubs but it was Starine who broke the
deadlock before half time, City nevber really got going tonight
but its onwards and upwards. Well Done Moneyslane but we now move
to the juniors with two more finals this week with the U14's playing
Magherafelt on Wednesday at Kernan and the U18's playing the winners
of Armagh City / Downshire. This will be the last week off football
in 2009/10 and a big thank you to all who played for CCFC. We
hope to see you all there next season again.

With no reserves or thirds match
al;l focus was on the first team hoping thy could keep their push
for promotion on course and came away with a 3v3 draw in a match
that could have went either way.The U18's lost 4v1 away to old
foe Lurgan Celtic which was again disappointing after all the
high expectations. The u14s beat Dromore 7v0 and seem to be on
course for the clubs first title win and the u12's lost in their
semi finals 2v0 against Dromore.

First team had a great 6v3 win
away to league leaders Lisnastraine, The win keeps our slim hopes
of Promotion alive, The only other match on Saturday was the reserves
who played away to Richhill and lost 3v2. All the Youth matches
where off due to the weather and easter Holidays but hopefully
all back this weekend and fixtures will be updated as they come
in. On the last Man standing we are down to the last 5 for the
£300 prize money. Three Girls and 2 Lads who will win.
